The Sunset That Stopped Time
We set off for a quick evening walk, expecting nothing more than the usual city sidewalks. Halfway down the trail along the river, the sun started sinking low, painting the water gold and pink.

We stopped. Just stopped. No photos, no phones, just us leaning on the railing, watching the light shimmer across the ripples. You pointed out a heron in the distance, I nudged you when a leaf fell on your shoulder. We didn’t speak much; we didn’t need to.
Walking together, we realized sometimes the most ordinary path can feel like magic if someone’s beside you to notice it too.
